3. New Mexico Bowl Trophy

The New Mexico Bowl trophy is arguably the most unique bowl trophy of them all. Handcrafted by artists from the Zia Pueblo, a Native American reservation located in New Mexico. Per the bowl’s website, the piece of art could be worth up to $2,500 at market value.

Like the Hawai’i Bowl, the New Mexico Bowl also hands out unique offensive and defensive MVP trophies. These are traditional leather shields.

College football is full of unique rivalry trophies and it is pretty awesome some bowls extend the uniqueness to their trophies.

The New Mexico Bowl is another fairly recent bowl, with its inaugural game taking place in 2006. It is usually one of the first ones to kick off the season. The game currently features matchups between the Mountain West and Conference USA. It had previous tie-ins to the WAC and Pac-12.
