Final 2021 Big Ten football power rankings: Michigan is top dog

The question coming into this season was whether or not anyone in the Big Ten could take advantage of Ohio State’s vulnerable defense. Oregon was more physical than the Buckeyes, which showed in the game. Michigan did the same thing to the Buckeyes in their 42-27 win against Ohio State.

That makes their Rose Bowl game against Utah that much more interesting. Ohio State struggled against the only two teams more physical than they were. However, the Buckeyes still have the best receiver room in the country and one of the best quarterbacks.

Can Utah manhandle Ohio State the way Michigan did?

Not many people outside of Ann Arbor had the Wolverines winning the Big Ten title this season. However, the Wolverines could play their style of football head coach Jim Harbaugh wanted them to play this season.

The Wolverines were physical up front and behind leading rusher Hassan Haskins and backfield mate Blake Corum, Michigan was one of the best running teams in the country. Defensively, it was all about defensive end Aidan Hutchinson.

Georgia versus Michigan should be the game of the playoff. Can the Wolverines shock the world one more time?
