Khamauri Rogers is one of the top cornerback recruits in the country and should get on the field for the Hurricanes next season. Miami has had issues at cornerback for a few seasons now and there is a path to get on the field right away.

Miami will be losing one of their starting corners in DJ Ivey and Al Blades Jr., who was a backup this season. Te’Cory Couch and Tyrique Stevenson will be back, but with a new coaching regime, they will have to earn their spots as starters again.

Rogers has the chance to be a shutdown cornerback at the college level and has the size and athleticism to be a top player. This is a name that not only Miami fans should get familiar with, but college football fans everywhere.

Keep an eye on Rogers to make an instant impact in Coral Gables next fall.
