Any Miami fan will tell you that one of the reasons that the defense has dropped off in the last couple of years has been linebacker play. The Hurricanes have been playing guys that frankly are not that talented at the position and that leaves a spot for a true freshman like Wesley Bissainthe to come in right away.

Bissainthe is a rangy linebacker who can go sideline-to-sideline and make plays all over the field. He is going to have to put on some weight to play linebacker in the ACC. However, he has the build to be able to get up to around 220-225 pounds and it is going to be a must if he wants to survive a season at the highest level.

This was a major recruiting win for Miami over their biggest rival Florida State and Bissainthe is the signee that is going to make the biggest early impact for Miami in 2022.
