25. Jackson State

Deion Sanders made waves on 2021 Early Signing Day when he flipped Travis Hunter from Florida State and the Jackson State fans are making waves too cracking the top 25 college football fanbases.

Sure, we could have gone with USC or Florida State, but the passion of those fans wasn’t in the same universe as Jackson State, at least in 2021, which is in large part to Prime and an 11-1 regular season.

The SWAC championship game was held there and there were over 50,000 fans in attendance. Earlier in the season, there were 60,000 fans on hand to watch Jackson State and Alcorn State do battle.

But it’s not just about the attendance numbers, which led the FCS, it’s about the atmosphere. One Ole Miss went to the SWAC championship game and said that he walked out as a Jackson State fan.

So for all those reasons, the Jackson State fanbase earned the right to be called the 25th-best college football fanbase in 2021.
