3. Georgia
Everybody in the SEC is crazy about their college football team. Not only is the conference home to some of the best teams in college football, but also some of the best fanbases.
There is a total of nine teams from the SEC in the top 25 and Georgia marks the second in the top five but even though UGA didn’t win the SEC championship, it was a helluva year and one that will include a trip to the College Football Playoff.
Georgia fans also supported their team as much as possible in their championship efforts and led the SEC in terms of overall percentage of capacity.
Alabama actually led the SEC in overall fan attendance but Georgia was the only SEC team to be at 100 percent for every game. The Bulldogs are also in the top five in terms of followings on Twitter and Instagram so they were an easy inclusion as a top-3 college football fanbase in 2021.
