22. Florida

The 2021 season wasn’t a banner year for Florida football. In fact, the Gators barely made it to a bowl game, but even though their attendance dropped a little, it wasn’t as bad as some other powers that struggled (here’s looking at you USC).

If this list was just about the best stadiums in college football, which is another topic for another day, the Swamp would certainly be right up there.

But the atmosphere is spectacular, not just because of the venue, but because of the Florida Gator fans, who are some of the best in the SEC.

The SEC is known for its rabid fans, which is why there are nine teams ranked among the top 25 college football fanbases for 2021. But only a couple of times did things really drop as far as fans at the Swamp and mainly it was because the Gators played Samford.

However, for most of the season, the Swamp still felt like the Swamp and it nearly helped Florida, as poor as it was this season, upset Alabama, so that has to count for something.
