20. Ole Miss

Back to the SEC. One college football fanbase that is really underrated is Ole Miss. The Rebels have had a medium amount of success over the years, but they are far from a traditional SEC powerhouse.

Behind the work of head coach Lane Kiffin and Matt Corral, the Rebels won 10 games in 2021 and earned a trip to the Sugar Bowl. It’s a big deal and the attendance numbers showed that Ole Miss fans have really responded to what Kiffin has built.

Ole Miss actually has the second-largest increase in attendance from the previous season, trailing only Arkansas in the SEC and ranking in the top 10 nationally.

Add that the fervent following the Rebels already had and you have an elite fanbase supporting Kiffin and company in Oxford. Just look back at how crazy it was for College Gameday.
