19. Auburn

The Auburn Tigers are another team that didn’t really have the kind of season they were hoping for in 2021 but the program still boasts one of college football’s top fanbases.

Auburn’s season would have felt so much different if the Tigers had been able to hang on and beat Alabama in the Iron Bowl, but if’s and but’s. It didn’t happen, but it still didn’t stop the faithful from supporting the Tigers in droves this season.

In fact, while Auburn may not have led the SEC in overall attendance this season, in terms of filling its stadium to capacity, only Georgia was better than Auburn football which had a capacity percentage of 98.5, good enough for seventh nationally.

Tigers fans are passionate and even when their team is average as it was this season, they still support their program and that’s something you have to give them credit for.
