Ohio State has had a tendency to give up big plays in the secondary the last two seasons. The way to fix those problems is to sign the number one safety prospect in the nation. Sonny Styles is an explosive playmaker in the secondary that should immediately challenge for playing time in 2022.

What is most intriguing about Styles is his size. He comes in at 6-foot-3, 215 pounds, and has the frame to get even bigger. With his blend of size and athleticism, Styles has similar traits to former Clemson standout Isaiah Simmons.

Having a playmaker with that type of talent has been missing from the Ohio State secondary in recent seasons and it would help the defense get back to an elite level. Look for Styles to make an instant impact at Ohio State next season.
