1. Zach Rice, OT

Other than their defense, North Carolina’s offensive line was the biggest reason for their struggles as a team this season. Quarterback Sam Howell was under constant pressure and that contributed to some of his turnover issues this season.

North Carolina is going to need to find guys to help turn around this problem next season and they may have just the guy to help do that.

Five-star offensive tackle Zach Rice is going to have the opportunity to play right away for North Carolina in 2022. Rice is a massive kid at 6-foot-6, 280 pounds, and still has room to grow.

The scouting reports say that Rice has everything that you are looking for in a high-level lineman. He is an agile athlete that finishes blocks well and plays with an attitude.

Look for Rice to find playing time at left tackle and be a building block for this program.
