3. Georgia’s defense will go down as one of the best ever

For the entire season, Georgia had the best defense in the country and it was not close. The Bulldogs have NFL talent up and down the roster and held every opponent to under 20 points outside of one game.

Bryce Young was able to pick apart the Bulldogs defense in the first matchup, which had some doubting the legitimacy of how great the defense was. Georgia showed up in a bad mood to Miami to take on Michigan and reminded everyone why they were historically great.

For Georgia to cement their status as an all-time great defense, they were going to have to have a big bounce-back performance against the Crimson Tide.

The Bulldogs did just that and although they gave up over 350 yards passing to Young, it did not matter. Georgia was able to get consistent pressure on Young and rattle him. This is one of the best defenses of the era and proved that on Monday night.
