Another school named by 247 sports as a possible contender for Dart is UCLA and for a few different reasons, Jaxson Dart to UCLA makes a lot of sense.
For starters, head coach Chip Kelly has a reputation of being an offensive guru and a guy that knows how to work with quarterbacks. Marcus Mariota was the No. 2 overall pick under his guidance and he’s got UCLA headed in the right direction.
But the Bruins could use a star quarterback like Dart and since the kid from Utah is already out in Los Angeles, why not check out the crosstown school and see if it’s a fit?
It would allow Dart the chance to play the Trojans once a year and try to exact some revenge, while not having to uproot his life. He’d just have to move across town and he would be a great fit for what Chip Kelly wants to do.
And in terms of an open situation to start, there are few better options than UCLA.
