1. Georgia

Georgia football won the national championship this week over Alabama with former walk-on Stetson Bennett playing quarterback, proving that you don’t have to necessarily have an elite prospect at the position to win it all.

But it still certainly helps and even if Bennett was a former walk-on, he didn’t play like one this season or in the natty when he threw for 224 yards and two touchdowns, including two in the fourth quarter.

However, the big question is will Bennett return? He can if he wants to due to COVID-19. JT Daniels will also have a decision to make but many assume he will take over if Bennett leaves.

Yet, what about Dart? There were rumors about Caleb Williams possibly going to Georgia and while the Bulldogs don’t feel like the destination there, they would certainly have a lot to sell Jaxson Dart and any other high-profile quarterback in the transfer portal.

The Bulldogs are going to be in the mix for a national championship again next season and while there will be some key pieces lost on defense — just like Alabama — it’s more about reloading than rebuilding.

Adding an elite quarterback to the mix could help and even if Dart had to sit for a year, it would be a great opportunity to reach the NFL and win a national title in the process.
