2. Jadon Haselwood: from Oklahoma to Arkansas

Haselwood, a former five-star out of high school, is the highest-rated prospect to transfer. He is one of many players who have transferred out of Oklahoma since Lincoln Riley left for USC. In addition to Haselwood, the Sooners have lost quarterback Spencer Rattler, tight end Austin Stogner and wide receiver Theo Wease.

In 2021, Haselwood had 39 receptions for 399 yards and six touchdowns. He took a redshirt in 2020 after an ACL injury ended his season prematurely. The Georgia native had 19 catches for 272 yards as a true freshman.

Haselwood joins an Arkansas team looking to repeat a season that was a pleasant surprise to the fans in Fayetteville. The Razorbacks could use the services of the former number one receiver.

Arkansas is likely to lose wide receiver Jaylon Burks to the NFL, and there is little wide receiver production returning if Burks heads to the draft. Haselwood would instantly be the best receiver on the team and should thrive in offensive coordinator Kendal Briles’ offense.

Haselwood should be completely healthy from the ACL and ready to realize his immense potential. With the quarterback changes and regaining his explosiveness after surgery, Haselwood struggled at times last season. He is looking to rebound this year.
