1. Isaiah Neyor: from Wyoming to Tennessee

Isaiah Neyor transferring from Wyoming to Tennessee could be the steal of this transfer cycle. First, head coach Josh Heupel has to love the fact that he’s a rising redshirt sophomore with three years of eligibility remaining.

Second, Neyor was a big-play threat in his first entire season, starting at receiver. The Arlington, Texas native averaged 20 yards per reception and 12 touchdowns as a starter for the Cowboys. With Velus Jones and JaVonta Patterson gone, Neyor is sure to see plenty of snaps.

Third, at 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds, Neyor has the ideal size for the SEC and should thrive in the quarterback and wide receiver friendly “Baylor offense” perfected by father-son duo Art and Kendal Briles.

Neyor was not heavily recruited out of high school and was rated a two-star, outside of the top 3,000 as a senior. Despite not being highly recruited, Neyor took advantage of the opportunity given at Wyoming and became one of the most sought-after transfer portal wide receivers.

Before choosing Tennessee, Neyor visited Ole Miss and USC. Ironically, Neyor signed with Tennessee without meeting coach Heupel. He plans to enroll and join the program for spring camp.
