Another game for Ohio State to tune up before they begin their Big Ten schedule. However, Toledo has been a worthy opponent for big-time schools before. The Rockets played Miami tough in 2017 and then took Notre Dame to the wire last season. They are a team that is going to be deserving of Ohio State’s respect heading into the game.

Look for this to be another game where Ohio State is going to look to figure out their pieces on defense. That is the unit that is going to be the most scrutinized and everyone will be watching to see if they have improved.

This is going to be another test for Ohio State and it is only the month of September. After games against Arkansas State and Toledo, Ohio State is going to need to be ready for the running game of Wisconsin. The Badgers are going to be returning one of the best backs in the country in Braelon Allen. He finished the season as one of the best running backs in the country and will be a darkhorse Heisman candidate heading into the season.

These teams have met several times in recent years and Ohio State manages to come out on top. This could be a preview of the Big Ten Championship Game as well. Expect a close game early, but Ohio State’s playmakers will be too much for the Badgers.
