After losing their first Big 12 game of the year, Texas will have a week off before heading to Kansas State to take on the Wildcats. Manhattan is always one of the toughest places to play in the Big 12 and the Wildcats play a physical brand of football. They also have one of the best players in college football in Deuce Vaughn.

The difference in this game will be whether Texas can stop the run. It was the key to beating Kansas State last season as well. The Longhorns will be focused after losing to Oklahoma State and coming off the bye week. Look for Texas to win this game.

This is going to be one of the highest-scoring games in the Big 12 next season. With TCU replacing former head coach Gary Patterson, who now works for Sarkisian at Texas, with former SMU head coach Sonny Dykes, the Horned Frogs are going to be one of the highest-scoring teams in the country.

This has been one of the best in-state rivalries in the conference since TCU joined the Big 12. TCU has gotten the best of Texas in a lot of the matchups, but that is not going to be the case in 2022. The Longhorns should have the best offense in the Big 12 and will be able to outscore the Horned Frogs in what should be a fun game.

Final Score: Texas 45, TCU 38 (8-2, 6-1)
