Oct. 1. Eugene, Ore.. Stanford Cardinal. 871. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 5. player

This is going to be a game that Oregon fans will have circled on their calendars. Stanford pulled a big upset over the Ducks in 2021 and to make Ducks fans even angrier, there were several questionable calls by the officials in this game, especially on the final drive.

Stanford has slipped as a program in recent years and is not the Pac-12 powerhouse that they were a decade ago. It feels like things have gotten stale in Palo Alto and Stanford is in for another tough season in conference play this season. Ducks win this game comfortably.

Final Score: Oregon 35, Stanford 23 (3-2, 2-0)

Pick Analysis. Arizona Wildcats. 6. player. Scouting Report. Oct. 8. Tucson, Ariz.. 835

Oregon will be looking for its third straight victory and to stay undefeated in conference play when they travel to Tucson to take on the Arizona Wildcats. There is no other way to say it but the Wildcats were a horrible team and by far the worst team in the Pac-12 in 2021. It was to be expected, however. With a new head coach in Jedd Fisch and lots of roster turnover, nobody should have expected anything else out of Arizona last season.

Now, Arizona is looking to improve. Fisch signed a good recruiting class and got talented Washington State transfer quarterback Jayden de Laura in at the position now. Still, it will be a tough season for Arizona and they won’t be able to beat Oregon, even at home.

Final Score: Oregon 38, Arizona 21 (4-2, 3-0)
