Oregon Football: Way-too-early game-by-game predictions for 2022

This is going to be a battle between what might be the two best teams in the Pac-12 and a potential preview of the conference title game. No Oregon fan needs any reminder of what happened in the two meetings between the two teams last season and the Ducks will be looking for payback. Utah is going to come into the season as the favorite in the conference and a potential playoff darkhorse.

While the game is in Eugene, there are some things that are going to favor Utah. They will have the better running game and might be the more physical team. If quarterback Cameron Rising takes another step in 2022, this offense could be really dangerous. Utah wins another matchup over the Ducks and ends their seven-game winning streak.

Final Score: Oregon 24, Utah 26 (8-3, 7-1) 

The final game of the 2022 regular season will be with their in-state rivals, the Oregon State Beavers. Oregon State has improved a lot as a program under head coach Jonathan Smith and has become an explosive team. The Beavers pulled an upset over the Ducks in 2020 and will be looking to do so here.

That is unlikely to happen though. Oregon will be looking to make it back to the conference championship game and the Beavers defense won’t be able to get enough stops. Oregon finishes the season on a high note and beats their hated rivals.
