After a big blowout win over Charlotte, South Carolina is going to stay home and get ready for their easiest game of the season. South Carolina State is going to love a chance to get to play one of the big programs in the state, but that is not going to be enough for them to be able to stay in this game.

This will be an opportunity for the Gamecocks to get some younger players some playing time and make sure that their starters stay healthy.

Final Score: South Carolina 58, SC State 0 (3-2, 0-2)

Lexington, Ky.. Kentucky Wildcats. player. Oct. 8. 6. 833. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

The game against Kentucky is going to be huge for South Carolina. This could be a battle to see who finishes in second in the SEC behind Georgia. It might also be a pivotal game to see if South Carolina can make it to a second straight bowl game under Beamer. The game is going to be in Lexington, which is one of the tougher places to play in the SEC.

The Wildcats are going to be missing some key players from last year’s team. Wandale Robinson, Josh Paschall, and Darion Kennard are all leaving for the NFL. Mark Stoops runs a great program and the Wildcats will reload, but that is a lot of talent to replace. South Carolina almost upset Kentucky last season and they will get the job done on the road.

Final Score: South Carolina 24, Kentucky 16 (4-2, 1-2)
