Bama comes to town after what’s sure to be a brutal affair in Arlington, doing Arkansas no favors. While Alabama does lose pieces like Jameson Williams, Evan Neal, and Christian Harris (among others), they’ve still got a returning Heisman Trophy winner in Bryce Young at quarterback, and the nation’s leading sack master in Will Anderson on the edge. Arkansas managed to compete with Alabama for a good bit of last year’s matchup, but it’s still a tall order for the Hogs to get a win here. Too many blue-chippers all over the field for Bama, and the Tide roll again.

Final score: Alabama 38, Arkansas 20 (Arkansas moves to 3-2, 1-2 in conference)

Up next comes Mississippi State and a trip to Starkville. Last season, the Razorbacks needed a last-second touchdown by running back Dominique Johnson to pull out a 31-28 win in Fayetteville. Mississippi State is a very weird team coming into this year, but they’ll have their signal-caller in Will Rogers back. This team on a good day can be a pain in the backside to almost anyone, but the Hogs get the win.

Final score: Arkansas 27, Mississippi State 20 (Arkansas moves to 4-2, 2-2 in conference)
