Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. November 5. Liberty Flames. 9. 2382. Fayetteville, AR. player

Thankfully, the Razorbacks get a break in the schedule with Liberty coming to town. Dynamic playmaker Malik Willis is off to the NFL, but even with Willis, Liberty was unable to challenge top squads last season. That portion of their schedule yielded a 13 point loss to Ole Miss, which was followed up by a 28 point drubbing against the Ragin’ Cajuns of Louisiana. Arkansas is going to win, and they are going to win by a lot.

Final score: Arkansas 49, Liberty 16 (Arkansas moves to 6-3, 3-2 in conference)

Battle for the Boot time comes up, with LSU making a sojourn to Fayetteville. These two teams have been doing player swaps, with Arkansas players going to LSU – including defensive back Joe Foucha – and Arkansas getting some key LSU transfers too. Of course, there’s also the matter of Brian Kelly shocking the world by going to Baton Rouge. Kelly is a good coach who will get things going quickly, but without a steady quarterback situation and some questions over offensive production, this looks like an Arkansas victory.

Final score: Arkansas 24, LSU 20 (Arkansas moves to 7-3, 4-2 in conference)
