LSU Football: Way-too-Early Game-by-Game Predictions for 2022
LSU is going to have their final home game of the season against UAB and this will come at an opportune time for the Tigers. After suffering back-to-back defeats, LSU will be hungry for a win and will need to beat one of Conference USA’s best teams to do so.
Head coach Bill Clark has done quite the job rebuilding UAB into something respectable. The Blazers play great defense and remain in contention for the conference title year after year. However, LSU is going to be too tough of an opponent and UAB will be unable to spring the upset.
Final Score: LSU 45, UAB 17 (8-3, 4-3)
For the final game of the season, LSU will go on the road to one of the toughest environments in college football. LSU was able to spring an upset over the Aggies last season, but Texas A&M is hoping this season is the one where they make a push for an SEC title and playoff birth.
Aggies head coach Jimbo Fisher just pulled in the top-ranked recruiting class of all time and expectations are being raised in College Station. Not to mention, former LSU quarterback Max Johnson will be suiting up for the Aggies. Johnson will get a win over his old team and LSU football will finish the 2022 season with a loss.
Final Score LSU 17, Texas A&M 24 (8-4, 4-4)
