Pick Analysis. Jahan Dotson. player. Scouting Report. WR. Penn State. 31. 50

The Lions get the Rams’ pick at either No. 31 or No. 32 and since I’m a believer in Joe Burrow, I think the Bengals beat Los Angeles, giving Detroit the 31st pick.

With that pick and having already addressed the need for an edge rusher with Kayvon Thibodeaux at No. 2, I think Detroit adds a receiver here. There are a ton of talented wideouts so this makes sense. Although Amon-Ra St. Brown was a revelation for the Lions in 2021, that offense could use more than one threat in the receiving corps. He was sure-handed for Penn State in 2021, catching 91 passes for 1,182 yards and 12 touchdowns.

A duo of St. Brown and Dotson would be incredible.

Scouting Report. OC. Iowa. Tyler Linderbaum. 32. player. Pick Analysis. 56

Is this too low for a guy as good as Tyler Linderbaum? Normally, I’d say yes, but because he’s a center and that’s not exactly the most in-demand position, the end of the first round seems about right. But the Bengals need help at every single position on the offensive line.

Linderbaum and Joe Burrow would be a heck of a tandem for the next decade-plus in Cincinnati and the Bengals desperately need to protect their franchise quarterback and the Iowa star will do just that.
