12. Mississippi State: Percy Lewis

JUCO transfer offensive tackle Percy Lewis is a mountain of a young man. At 6-foot-8 and 350 pounds, Lewis looks more like someone you’d see on Monday Night Raw than the football field. However, the Mississippi Gulf Coach C.C. transfer can move.

Lewis is physical at the point of attack with good feet for a player his size. Once Lewis trims down, he’ll have to potential to be one of the better tackles in the SEC. Lewis has the tools to start right away and develop into an acceptable right tackle.

11. South Carolina (transfer): Spencer Rattler, QB

The story goes that Oklahoma transfer Austin Stogner signed with South Carolina; he encouraged head coach Shane Beamer to give Spencer Rattler a call to gauge his interest in coming to Columbia, South Carolina.

It stands to reason Stogner told coach Beamer right. Rattler indeed transferred to the Gamecocks. The Arizona native comes to Columbia with a Big 12 title on his resume. Rattler should blossom in the quarterback-friendly offense Beamer wants to run.

Rattler, the only five-star recruit in his class, thrives on running tempo and getting the football out of his hands early; both of those are staples of how the Gamecocks want to play offense. This change of scenery should be a positive for Rattler as well.
