1. Marvin Harrison Jr., WR

This might be cheating because of his performance against Utah in the Rose Bowl, but Ohio State’s biggest breakout star in 2022 is going to be Marvin Harrison Jr. The son of an NFL legend, Harrison Jr. showed the college football world that he is ready to be a superstar in the Buckeyes offense.

While Jaxon Smith-Njigba might be the number one target for CJ Stroud, Harrison Jr. is going to be his next favorite target, especially in the red zone. He possesses great size and he might have the best ball skills of all of the Ohio State receivers. Speed is not an issue either for Harrison Jr. and he can make plays vertically down the field.

Because of the talent on the team at every position, there is a lot of competition to be the breakout star at Ohio State. Harrison Jr. is going to be one of the best wide receivers in the country and the top breakout player on Ohio State in 2022.
