3 College football teams that need to target JT Daniels in transfer portal
1. West Virginia
Another college football team that makes perfect sense for JT Daniels is West Virginia. Actually, there probably isn’t a team that makes more sense for the former five-star QB.
For starters, West Virginia has a clear opening at quarterback going into next season. Garrett Greene who was the backup a year ago is probably set to take over or incoming freshman, Nicco Marchiol, a four-star signee, who could also be in the mix.
Another option would be for offensive coordinator and former USC offensive coordinator Graham Harrell to call JT Daniels and get him to quarterback the Mountaineers in 2022.
Daniels knows the offensive system and is familiar with Harrell. He also wants to be the clear starter and he should be, at least next season, which would give Marchiol time to develop.
The Mountaineers were 6-7 last season and they could use a bounce-back. Adding Daniels who completed over 70 percent of his passes last season, as well as throwing 17 touchdowns in two years for Georgia compared to just five interceptions, seems like an easy way to do that.
If you have a chance to upgrade the most important position on the field you should and that’s why each of these college football teams should be targeting JT Daniels.
