Defensive Line

Starting defensive ends: Jahzion Harris, Fadil Diggs
Backups: Elijah Jeudy, Donnell Harris

Starting defensive tackles: Shemar Turner, McKinnley Jackson
Backups: Isaiah Raikes, Walter Nolen

This is a bit of a tough position group to nail down. Texas A&M just signed the best defensive line class in recruiting history, but only one of them is listed on this depth chart. Texas A&M has recruited really well at this position over the past few years under Fisher.

On the edge, look for Jahzion Harris and Fadil Diggs to get the first cracks at the job. Harris is a four-star recruit from the 2021 class and has a lot of potential. Diggs is going to start, but it would not surprise me if either Elijah Jeudy or Donnell Harris will have his spot by the end of the season.

Inside, 2021 five-star recruit Shemar Turner will be one starter and veteran McKinnley Jackson will be the other. Both are really good players and can make this the strength of the defense. Isaiah Raikes is a veteran player that should get plenty of playing time and Walter Nolen was the number two overall player in the country in the 2022 cycle.

Other guys not listed here that could challenge for playing time are the other highly recruits from 2022. Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy, Shemar Stewart, Anthony Lucas, and Enai White are talented enough to earn playing time on the field.
