Sept. 17. Auburn, Ala.. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Penn State Nittany Lions. 3. 806

Auburn and Penn State played in one of the most exciting games of the 2021 college football season. It was a great atmosphere in Happy Valley during one of the iconic white-out games and Penn State was able to win in a thriller. The chance that the game is just as good this season is slim, however.

This is going to be the first real measuring stick game to see if Auburn can be better than the expectations that will be placed on them. Penn State is returning some talent from last year’s team and just signed a top 10 recruiting class with impact players. SEC teams usually protect their home field against teams from the north, but this won’t be one of those times.

Final Score: Auburn 10, Penn State 34 (2-1)

Sept. 24. Auburn, Ala.. Missouri Tigers. player. 822. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 4

After losing a tough game at home to Penn State, Auburn is going to stay at home for the fourth straight week. The SEC schedule is going to be starting up and the first opponent for Auburn in the conference is going to be Missouri. Missouri is coming off a so-so 6-6 season in which they had one of the worst defenses in the SEC and the country.

Missouri is hoping for a bounce-back season and there is optimism that they can improve upon last year’s record. They signed one of their highest-rated recruiting classes ever with some guys that will have an immediate impact. Expect this to be a close game, but Missouri will be the better team on this day.

Final Score: Auburn 27, Missouri 34 (2-2, 0-1 SEC)
