Offensive Line

LT: Darnell Wright (senior)
Backup LT: Jeremiah Crawford (senior)

LG: Jerome Carvin (senior)
Backup LG: Kingston Harris (redshirt senior)

C: Cooper Mays (junior)
Backup C: Jackson Lampley (redshirt sophomore)

RG: Javontez Spraggins (junior)
Backup RG: Ollie Lane (redshirt senior)

RT: Dayne Davis (redshirt junior)
Backup RT: Gerald Mincey (redshirt sophomore)

Reserves: G/C Addison Nicholls (freshman), G/C Maurice Clipper (freshman), T Brian Grant (freshman), T Masai Reddick (freshman)

Although Cade Mays is gone at right tackle, the other four starting offensive linemen from last year’s Tennessee football team return.

With Mays gone, the right tackle position is wide open in spring practice. Dayne Davis did well in his starts during the back half of the season at right tackle, but there’s definite competition. Florida transfer Gerald Mincey most likely has a higher ceiling, and 2021 junior college transfer Jeremiah Crawford could win the spot, too.

The backups at tackle will have talent, but Ollie Lane stepped in at guard to start a few games last season. Elsewhere, Kingston Harris and Jackson Lampley are big, physical prospects that will contribute on the interior.

Injuries at guard or center could force Addison Nichols to come in. Nichols was the highest-ranked recruit in Tennessee’s 2022 class, and he’s great at run blocking, but he needs another year before he can start.
