Linebackers

Mike: Aaron Beasley (senior)
Will: Jeremy Banks (redshirt senior)

Rotation: Juwan Mitchell (redshirt senior), Solon Page III (super senior), Jackson Hannah (redshirt sophomore)
Reserves: Elijah Herring (freshman), Kalib Perry (freshman)

The linebacker position looks a lot like it did last year. Juwan Mitchell is back for his final year of eligibility, but Aaron Beasley played decent in his takeover after Mitchell’s injury. Mike linebacker could see some competition, but Beasley is the incumbent and will have cemented himself in that spot.

At will linebacker, there isn’t a competition at all. Jeremy Banks is one of the best linebackers in college football, and injury is the only thing that will force him off the field.

Solon Page made 38 tackles last year, and he comes back for his last year of eligibility. Joining him at reserve linebacker is Nebraska transfer Jackson Hannah. Hannah is a Nashville native, and despite being a walk-on with Nebraska, comes in as a scholarship player for the Vols.

The incoming freshmen are unlikely to crack into the two-deep at any point, given Tennessee’s scheme.
