One of the places where USC is going to have to replace a lot of starters is in the secondary. They lost some guys to the NFL and some of the backups are coming back from injuries. USC has added a few transfers to help bring some experience, but the most talented defensive back on the Trojans might be true freshman cornerback Domani Jackson.

Jackson was one of the most sought-after recruits in the 2022 recruiting class. At 6-foot-1, 185 pounds, he already has the size that teams crave from a shutdown corner and he has exceptional athleticism. He is going to have to pick up the defense quickly, but the talent level is there.

There are no sure things on this USC defense this season. That is going to help pave the way for one of the most talented prospects to sign with USC in recent memory to be a breakout star in 2022. Keep an eye out for Jackson to be on the field early and often for USC.
