USC is filling out most of its defense with transfers from other programs and that makes sense considering how bad the Trojans defense was last season.

One of the areas that USC has been lacking in for some time now is a pass rusher. In the transfer portal, the Trojans found a guy who might just be tapping into his potential.

Romello Height is coming over from Auburn and although he did not record a sack during his time with the Tigers, has the athleticism to make a difference coming off the edge for the Trojans’ defense.

At 6-foot-5 and 216 pounds, the tools are there to work with to help Height become the Trojans’ best edge rusher. He has a quick burst off of the line of scrimmage and bends well to get around offensive linemen. Height is going to be asked to be one of the top defenders on USC and he will deliver with a breakout season.
