4. Victor Oluwatimi, Michigan

Michigan football was named the best offensive line in college football last season and won the Joe Moore Award. And with the way the Wolverines ran over Ohio State, it was warranted.

Michigan struggled against the Georgia defense but so did everybody. It was one of the greatest defenses in college football history.

Still, the running game should be stellar again this season, especially with Victor Oluwatimi, an All-American from Virginia, joining the team via the transfer portal.

The 19th-ranked overall addition is a four-star according to the transfer portal rankings and he’s coming at a position of need for Michigan. Last season’s starting center Andrew Vastardis is headed to the NFL and Oluwatimi will take over that job this spring.

Offensive linemen aren’t sexy additions but when you are talking about a Michigan football program that relies heavily on running the ball and is expected to again this season, despite having two really talented quarterbacks, it’s going to be quite impactful.

Any time you add an All-American you have to feel good about it and Oluwatimi is another prospect that is going to have a bigger impact next season than his ranking might suggest.
