One of the areas that Texas really struggled in last season was up front. The Longhorns could not get consistent quarterback play, but one of the big reasons the quarterbacks struggled was because of the offensive line.

There is going to be plenty of competition for starting spots on this offensive line this season.

Texas just signed what might be the top offensive line class in the country. It includes a couple of five-star players and a lot of depth. One of those players is five-star offensive tackle Kelvin Banks who is going to have a chance to step in right away and start at either left or right tackle.

Banks is a good athlete for someone of his size and moves his feet well. He should be good in pass protection right away and will come along as a run blocker. He is one of the most highly-touted linemen Texas has signed in some time and will be a breakout star in 2022.
