What? Did you really think I was going to put someone else in the top spot? Quinn Ewers is one of the most talented quarterbacks to ever come out of high school and now he is back in his home state.

After spending a year in the crowded Ohio State quarterback room, Ewers is back at the school where he was once committed and hoping to be the guy that lead the Longhorns back to the top.

Ewers has undeniable arm talent and is one of the most accurate quarterbacks to come out of high school. He has some mechanical issues that he will need to have coached up, but in terms of raw tools and talent, there are not many in the entire country with Ewers’ level of talent.

Expect Ewers to start from day one this season. He will have a big chance to show how good he is when Texas welcomes Alabama to Austin on Sept. 10. Ewers is not only going to be the biggest breakout star for Texas this year, but he will be one of the best quarterbacks in the country by season’s end.
