USC will win the Pac-12 South

We all know that elite head coaches are worth a lot in college football — just look at what USC and LSU paid Lincoln Riley and Brian Kelly.

But is Riley the guy to turn around USC football? The key to success for the Trojans has always been recruiting and so far, Riley has done a spectacular job, both with traditional recruits and in the transfer portal.

USC has been as active as anyone in the portal and has added Travis Dye, Oregon’s leading rusher, plus Mario Williams, a talented wideout from Oklahoma, and Brenden Rice, the son of Jerry Rice, from Colorado.

Plus, the biggest get was five-star quarterback Caleb Williams, who gives USC a bonafide contender to be the No. 1 pick a couple of years down the road.
