Big Ten: Ohio State Buckeyes

Yes, we all know that Michigan finally beat Ohio State again. Heck, they even won the conference title and saw their first-ever playoff appearance. But here’s a fair question: what are the chances that they do any of that again next season?

Simply put, it’s hard not to see what the Wolverines did last year as anything more than a fluke. That may sound harsh, but that doesn’t make it any less true.

The Big Ten is consistently the toughest conference in college football not named the SEC; you can’t just snap your fingers and win in a league that physical. People need to know that you can beat your rivals on an annual basis, yet even last year saw Michigan fall to Michigan State.

And let’s not even dive into how the Spartans had to blow multiple league games later on to really boost the Wolverines up in their race to win the East division.

We, as college football fans, know that The Ohio State Buckeyes have what it takes to consistently dominate in the Big Ten. This goes without even mentioning the fact that both Ohio State and Penn State have better 2022 recruiting classes than Michigan right now.

So sorry Michigan, while 2021 was a great year for you, the Big Ten will be back under Buckeye control in no time.
