Wisconsin Football: Way-too-Early Game Predictions for 2022

This was one of the most entertaining games in the Big Ten last year. In true Nebraska fashion, they let a lead slip away and let Wisconsin escape with a win. This season, the Badgers are going to have to go to Lincoln and take on the Cornhuskers, who hope to be much improved after going 3-9 a season ago.

This is a big season for Nebraska head coach Scott Frost. He came to Lincoln and hoped to get the program back to respectability. That has not happened yet, but you could see the Cornhuskers were a better team in 2021 even if their record did not reflect it. Even though they are at home, they won’t be able to beat Wisconsin.

Wisconsin was just one win away from being able to go to the Big Ten championship last season. Then, Minnesota was able to pull an upset over the Badgers and send them home early. The Big Ten West might be on the line in this game and both teams will be ready to go.

Minnesota is bringing back the duo of quarterback Tanner Morgan and running back Mohamed Ibrahim and they should be in for good seasons if they are healthy. The Golden Gophers’ defense should be solid and they might be the most underrated team in the Big Ten.

However, Wisconsin will get revenge for the game last season and end up with 10 wins.
