This is another position that has question marks for the Tigers. Clemson has produced some great wide receivers under Swinney, but they have been lacking a go-to option for the past couple of seasons. The receivers must step up and improve for Clemson’s passing attack to improve. The good thing for the Tigers is that they only lose one major contributor to the position in Justyn Ross and return everyone else.

At one outside receiver spot will be Joseph Ngata. Ngata was the second leading receiver on Clemson’s offense last season and averaged 19 yards per catch. Ngata has the ability to be the top receiver but needs to improve on last season.

The other outside receiver is likely going to be E.J. Williams. Williams did not put up eye-popping statistics last season, but he has got a lot of talent. He needs to stay healthy and show he can be a weapon in the offense.

The guy that most Clemson football fans are excited for is Beaux Collins. Collins started to flash at the end of the season and is looking to build upon his finish. He will be able to make plays in the slot and is a big-time threat with the ball in his hands.

For depth, look for true freshman Antonio Williams to find a way to get on the field. Williams is a top 100 player in the country for a reason and will be the future of the position. Dacari Collins has the experience and should see the field plenty this season.
