North Alabama joined FCS ball a few years ago, and since then, they’ve done nothing remarkable. 2021 saw them go 3-8, which included a 0-4 record in one-score games.

Even by FCS standards, there isn’t a lot here, and Memphis should have zero trouble at all.

Final score: Memphis 55, North Alabama 13 (Memphis 7-4, 4-3 in AAC)

November 26. Dallas, TX. SMU Mustangs. Pick Analysis. 12. player. 884. Scouting Report

For their final regular-season game, the Tigers football team gets SMU in Dallas. SMU’s got a new coach, as offensive coordinator mainstay Rhett Lashlee takes the job.

Tanner Mordecai was a demon of destruction against AAC defenses last year. He’s back, as are both of the Mustang leaders in rushing yards. With wideout Danny Gray departing, as well as both all-AAC offensive linemen, the talent level will have come down from last year.

SMU’s defense could go between “decent” and “non-existent” in 2021. But, gaining most big contributors back should help them improve a touch.

Memphis doesn’t have the offensive firepower to match Mordecai’s arm, and SMU’s defense is just good enough to get them over the finish line.

Final score: SMU 41, Memphis 37 (Memphis finishes 7-5, 4-4 in AAC)
