Arkansas Football: Way-too-early 2-deep depth chart projection for 2022
Wide Receiver
Starting X receiver: Warren Thompson
Backup: Bryce Stephens
Starting Z receiver: Ketron Jackson Jr.
Backup: Isaiah Setagna
Starting slot receiver: Jadon Haselwood
Backup: Jaquayln Crawford
This position has some big shoes to fill with the departure of Burks to the NFL, but there are some talented options waiting for Arkansas. Not only is Burks departing, however, but so is Tyson Morris, the team’s second-leading receiver.
The two outside receiver options for Arkansas are going to be guys that were on the team last year. Warren Thompson was the third-leading receiver for the Razorbacks and the production should increase with more opportunities. Ketron Jackson Jr did not make much of an impact last season, but he is going to be relied upon this season.
The biggest addition to the group might be Oklahoma transfer, Jadon Haselwood. Haselwood is a former five-star receiver that could not stay healthy at Oklahoma but is hoping to become the top target for Jefferson and the Arkansas offense.
Bryce Stephens and Jaquayln Crawford are two players that have not had many opportunities, but they will be experienced backups. Isaiah Setagna is the top recruit in the Razorbacks 2022 class and should see the field this season.
