Linebacker

Starting Mike linebacker: Drew Sanders
Backup: Chris Paul Jr

Starting Will linebacker: Bumper Pool
Backup: Marco Avant

The leader of the Arkansas defense is going to be back for yet another season. Bumper Pool, the Razorbacks leading tackler from a season ago with 125 tackles, is coming back for one more season in Fayetteville. However, other than Pool, the position has some question marks.

Arkansas did land a commitment from Alabama transfer linebacker Drew Sanders and he is likely to win the starting middle linebacker job. Sanders has talent but just could not find his way into a starting job at Alabama. Sanders projected backup, Chris Paul Jr, did not make much of an impact last season but will compete for playing time.

Depth at linebacker could be a concern for Arkansas. Grant Morgan and Hayden Henry are not easy guys to replace and there is not much experience here other than Pool.
