Secondary

Starting cornerbacks: LaDarrius Bishop, Dwight McGlothern
Backups: Hudson Clark, Khari Johnson

Starting safeties: Latavious Brini, Myles Slusher, Malik Chavis
Backups: Jalen Catalon, Jayden Johnson, Simeon Blair

Starting Nickel: Trent Gordon
Backup: Keuan Parker

Another area of the defense in which the Razorbacks have been adding some transfers to the group. There is going to be some experience and playmaking to replace, as Arkansas lost a couple of transfers to LSU.

At cornerback, LaDarrius Bishop is going to be back and he is going to be hoping to have an impactful season in a larger role. LSU transfer Dwight McGlothern should have every opportunity to get the other spot. Hudson Clark and Khari Johnson are also going to be in the mix.

Safety is going to need to replace Joe Foucha, but Georgia transfer Latavious Brini is going to help ease that loss. Brini might be one of the most impactful transfers in the SEC and should shine in this defense. Myles Slusher is likely to be the other safety, along with Malik Chavis.

Trent Gordon will take the starting nickelback slot. This is a group that has inexperience in some spots but could be one of the strengths of the team by season’s end.
