Tight End

Starter: Michael Ezeike
Backup: Mike Martinez

Greg Dulcich was one of the best players on the Bruins last season and his presence is going to be tough to replace. Chip Kelly likes to utilize tight ends in his offense and someone is going to need to step up to fill the massive void that is being left behind.

Michael Ezeike is the likely candidate to get the start at tight end. He is a senior in the program and has been around for a few years, but has never been able to make a big enough impact to earn significant playing time. Mike Martinez is the likely backup to Ezeike, but he has not done much in his career either.

Two true freshman signees in Jack Pederson and Carsen Ryan could be competing for playing time as true freshmen. It is not out of the realm of possibility for the Bruins to bring in a transfer if one hits the portal.
