vs. Rutgers (W)

Scarlet Knights head coach Greg Schiano has gotten some praise for his attempts at making Rutgers Football a more formidable program, but the inferiority, when compared to the might of Michigan State, is difficult to ignore.

The Spartans will be at home and looking to scavenge whatever is left of a potentially-decent season. This one won’t be overly close.

(7-3)

vs. Indiana (W)

Similar to Rutgers, Indiana is a not-so-good team visiting East Lansing at a bad time. The only difference is that the Hoosiers are noticeably worse than the Scarlet Knights. MSU is better than Indiana, much better, and they will waste no time trying to prove it.

@ Penn State (L)

There is no way more fitting to end a season plagued with disappointing losses than with a disappointing loss.

The Nittany Lions are a strong team, and James Franklin is a strong head coach, but what will give them the edge over the Spartans is their extremely unwelcoming atmosphere known as “Happy Valley.” Spoiler alert, Michigan State will not be on the happy end of this matchup.

The Michigan State Spartans will leave many wondering “what if” after an upsetting, yet still solid record of 8-4 in 2022.
