19. player. LB . Georgia. Nakobe Dean . 54. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

After adding Jordan Davis to the defensive line, the Eagles will look to the defending national champions again to upgrade their defense — this time selecting Nakobe Dean. Dean isn’t the biggest linebacker in the world at around 6-foot, but he was all over the field for Georgia last season with 72 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, six sacks, two interceptions, and six pass deflections. Dean is a plug-and-play guy who would probably start immediately in Philadelphia.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Michigan. 20 . player. DB . Daxton Hill. 55

If the board works out right, Pittsburgh would certainly be justified in taking a long, hard look at quarterback. Mitch Trubisky is worth taking a flyer on. He’s got talent and a change of scenery could really do him some good. But if the right QB falls to 20, you’d have to think the Steelers would pull the trigger. Instead, Pittsburgh takes one of the most underrated defensive backs in the class in Daxton Hill. Hill is a 6-foot safety who can also play corner. He spent most of last season playing nickel corner for Michigan but can play on the back end or on the perimeter. He also runs a 4.4 in the 40 and is probably one of those players who will be better in the NFL than college.
