48. Scouting Report. EDGE . Michigan. David Ojabo . 27 . player. Pick Analysis

In an unfortunate turn of events, Ojabo tore his Achilles last week at Michigan’s pro day. He’s expected to be out 6-9 months and the timeline is expected to force him to miss the start of the 2022 season. Heck, he’s going to miss a big chunk of it regardless. Yet, prior to the injury, he was being mocked as a top-10 pick. Some mock drafts had him near the top five. The 6-foot-5, 250-pounder had 12 tackles for loss and 11 sacks last season. He is also just scratching the surface of what he can be and runs a 4.55 in the 40, so even if his career is a little delayed at the beginning, this move will pay off if the Bucs make it.

DT . player. 49. Scouting Report. Georgia. Devonte Wyatt . 28. Pick Analysis

After getting a wide receiver for the first time since 2003 in the first round with the 22nd pick in the 2022 NFL draft, the Packers address another key need with Georgia DT Devonte Wyatt. He’s not as well-known as Jordan Davis but he’s 6-foot-3, 304 pounds, and stout against the run. Wyatt also ran a 4.77 in the 40. The Packers need another dominant big guy on the defensive line next to Kenny Clark and Wyatt falling to 28 is an ideal scenario. He’s also a solid interior pass rusher, meaning he can help right away in more ways than one.
