2022 NFL Mock draft: Projecting first-round after free agency and trades
The Dolphins really need to upgrade their depth and talent at offensive tackle. There are a bunch of solid defenders still available at this point in the mock draft but there is more depth in the draft on that side of the ball than offensive tackle. Raimann is one of the last first-round caliber tackles left and Miami would do well to grab him here.
The thought of Jameson Williams on the Chiefs is frightening. But that’s how this mock draft worked out and Kansas City takes the risk on Williams after he suffered a an ACL injury. He’s not going to make a huge impact next season, although you never know anymore (he says he’s ahead of schedule). But once he’s healthy, Williams will be able to take advantage of all the attention paid to Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce. That makes this pick a no-brainer for KC if it gets the chance.
